Romans 4:20-21 reads “He staggered not at the promises of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Have you found yourself in a place of doubt, uncertainty, disbelief? Not being fully persuaded that what God has promised he will perform. It is not a matter of if He is able, for He can do all things. But sometimes in your waiting have you been a little discourage that it just may not come to pass?
Or have you been toss to and from by situation after situation, circumstance after circumstance that it seems so foggy it appears it will never dissipate. Listen if you find yourself at this place do not condemn yourself. Extend grace to yourself and begin to meditate on the scripture above and allow it to sink deeply and richly into your heart until it becomes alive in you and you begin to believe it.
Then speak the word out of your mouth with confidence and put your name in the word. For me I declare this day that I, India Faith I stagger not at the promises of God through unbelief; but I India Faith am strong in faith, giving glory to God.
I declare I India Faith am fully persuaded that what he (God) has promised, he is able to perform it.
I declare God will perform His promises to me in the name of Jesus.
For God is not a man, that he should lie, neither the son of man, that He should repent; hath He said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Could the discouragement, and discontentment come from not being clear on the promises of God for your life? The promises He left in His word for you.
Could the discouragement come because in the time of waiting He is calling you to rest, to prepare your mind, to make your mind sound, but you are steady trying to work that thing in you?
Today I find my rest in my trust in Him. My works according to my faith is to rest in the confidence that He will bring it to pass, every promise, every word. One of His promises is that He will supply all my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. So, I stand on that. Another promise is that He the Lord is whom give me power to get wealth that He may establish his covenant which He swore unto my fathers, as it is this day.
I am to remember the Lord my God in the name of Jesus and His promises. At this moment, and with each breathe I take I am confident and fully persuaded the Lord can perform and will perform that which He has promised in Jesus’ name amen.
Remember we all have moments, and give yourself grace for that moment, but allow that moment to be just that a moment. Be encouraged and smile big for he will bring it to pass in Jesus’ name amen.
Dear heavenly Father,
Today we bow before your throne humbly, thanking you for just being. You are all things to us Father God and we surrender to you. We declare that You are the Alpha and Omega of our lives. Father you alone are our protector and our provider. My trust is in You! Please forgive me when I fall short in my confidence in you and let me rest in the many times you have always showed up for me. Lord I ask that you touch the lives of those that are yours. That you will heal us from all things seen and experienced that would cause us to doubt You. T
he only thing sure in this life and the life to come is you. So, on this day we take refuge in you, and place our confidence in You alone knowing that your promises for our lives and the body of Christ stand sure and will come to pass in Jesus’ name amen.
