May We Present The Fullness of Ourselves To God - Oblation!

OBLATION:

To Present Something to God.

That which we are to present to God is ourselves. In submission, In worship, In love, In praise.

Romans 12:1 Instructs us in the following way

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, Holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Oblation:

The act of making a religious offering “The act of offering the eucharist elements to God.

Eucharist means spiritual communion with God – Communion intimacy fellowship and rapport.

We are to be in relationship, communication, and vulnerable with the Lord. Actually talking to Him as if He is tangibly present with us, as if he is in the human form of Jesus right here beside us that we can reach out and touch.

Despite not feeling him at times, and or knowing that you cannot actually see Him you must hold on to your Faith in God and His word “Immanuel God with us.

Matthew 1:18-23

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was with child of the Holy Spirit (Now Holy Spirit whom Mary was pregnant by is The same Holy Spirit inside of us – keep the knowledge of this truth in mind and very close to your heart) Then Joseph her husband being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. But while he thought about these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins. (I think this is an important truth to know, and to understand Jesus will save us His people from our sins)

So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call his name Immanuel, which being interpreted “God with us”

I read the full scriptures and not just the part that speaks God is with us, because I believe it is imperative to understand that he is in us the same Holy Spirit that conceived Jesus in the womb of a virgin is the same life inside of us and He is Immanuel ~ God is with us. When we get this truth drenched in our minds it becomes natural to pour our hearts before the Lord in a posture of a Holy Offering.

When we hold on to this truth it becomes easier to remain in communion and relation with God because we trust and believe He is with us. He is so close to us. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit is in us. Now abide!

Inviting Him – We must invite Him in to abide with us in all ways, directing our paths, enlightening our minds and reconstructing our hearts.

We must present our offering to God as we are communing with Him.

Hebrew 13:15 tells us what to Offer ~ Therefore by Him (Jesus) let us continually offer sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

Oblation

Something offered in worship or devotion: A Holy gift offered usually at an alter

In the alter of our hearts we are to present ourselves Holy and offer pure heartfelt worship and praise through love. Loving God as we are instructed through His word is an offering.

Deuteronomy 6:5

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. The more we live from a place of oblation the stronger the love of God forms in our heart. As we love God we are then known by God 1 Corinthians 8:3. To be known by God is everything!

To be known by God is to be known by life, to be known by life means we have a promise, a hope, and a future. We have an expected end from the one who has a plan for our lives, plans of peace and not of evil.

His love is unconditional and undeniable. May we be reminded this day that God’s banner over us is love. Through daily communion, which is our invitation to the Father, through our oblation unto the Father He then brings us to His banqueting house, and His banner over us is love.

The more we pour ourselves out before Him, the more He pours Himself in us (or make Himself known within)

What I sense in the spirit there is an urgency in deliberately making Christ, the God head our priority and our agenda. That our lives are a reflection of honor, intimacy, obedience, and surrender through Oblation. And this is done through the offering of our soul, heart, spirit, body, emotions, and mind before His alter daily.

This is the works that is tied to our Faith to keep our Faith alive. For we know according to James Faith without works is dead and we are to show our Faith by our works.

Through this daily action (or work rather) Christ in you will prevail in your life, you then can take your rest in the peace He provides which surpasses all understanding. Our desires will then be met on every side. Truth, Holiness, purity, love, joy, happiness, the word of God, the Kingdom of Heaven will prevail internally, and it will be that which radiates in our external lives.

This day may we Offer our complete self to the God Head, and worship Him, and honor Him daily as we wait at His gates in Jesus’ name amen

I’ll close with this Matthew 5:23-24 gives us a divine principal we must follow for the Father to receive that which we are offering.

Therefore, if you bring your gift (offering) to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you (not you having something against them, but in their heart they have something against you) leave your gift there before the altar, and be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

(Submit a Prayer on behalf the hearer)

Father we praise you, we thank you that we can come before your throne to grow, to learn, to be forgiven, to be loved on and to receive your grace. We thank you for your word that teaches us your divine principals, the works that must proceed our faith. We claim you to be faithful and praise you for Immanuel God with us God in us. We thank you for truth and the root of your word that falls deep in us as seed form and then produce a harvest of life if we live by it and only believe. May your word not only be the seed planted, in addition may it be the water and the sun light that causes your truth to grow in us, so we can be the tree planted by the rivers of waters bring forth fruit in our season. May our heart grow fonder of you daily as we offer praise and worship to You the only true living loving right now God in Jesus name, I pray amen.

The Lord bless you and keep you,

The Lord make His face shine upon you

And be gracious unto you

The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace

Be encouraged for God’s name is upon You and He will bless You in Jesus name amen
