Just

"Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.”

Habakkuk 2:4 KJV

What does it mean to be just? In order to live out the word we must know and understand what He is asking us to do, what character He have commanded us to have.

There is a benefit in understanding!

The Just shall live by Faith.

To be just according to Merriam dictionary is:

conforming to a standard of correctness: PROPER

just proportions

c

archaic: faithful to an original

a

(1)

: acting or being in conformity with what is morally upright or good: RIGHTEOUS

We as God’s creation must live to the standard and correctness of the Word of God (the standard of Christ)

We are called to be faithful to the originator and that is God Himself, and we are empowered to do just that through salvation (the acceptance of Jesus Christ our Lord yielding to Him to be our Savior)

We are required to conform to what is morally upright (honest, just, conscientious, scrupulous, and honorable) and good!

We have free will, but that does not negate what is required!

The just shall live by Faith. I really want us all to hear the scripture that we may not simply want to live by Faith to reap the reward, but we desire to be transformed from unjust to just men and woman ~ children of God! In Jesus name amen

Dear Heavenly Father,

I pray your word in our lives that it is alive and active. That our hearts are opened to receive the transformation of your word. To take us from unjust to just, from evil to good, from hate to love, from disobedient to obedient and from faith to faith and glory to glory.

Be glorified in our lives as we surrender to salvation, accepting Jesus. As we surrender to the Spirit and truth of your word, and as we yield to allow your word to work and transform in our lives.

We will praise you forever and let the light of Christ shine through us that others may see and glorify you alone our Father who is in Heaven in Jesus name amen.
