HE WHO OVERCOMES

HE WHO OVERCOMES

There is a promise for those who overcome.

I know there is a lot going on within our lives. Often it feels as if it is a whirlwind and there is no way out. But, through Christ there is always a way (for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life). May I encourage you as I encourage myself to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and your mind meditating on His word with a heart ready to obey immediately what His Spirit is saying or unction’s you to do.

Do not become weary in well doing for you shall reap if you faint not.

Overcoming the fight in your life, the war in your mind, the feeling of insecurity, lack of direction, anger, rejection, hurt, and bitterness to get to the place of love, the place of peace, to be at a place of wholeness, and joy.

The war we wrestle against is within. Once the war within has been conquered you can defeat any war around you.

For the war outside of us is won through our faith, the word, and love. When we are at a place of love we can fight by the Spirit. When we are struggling within the good fight of faith is hindered because flesh rises. Anytime flesh is in the way the spirit is hindered.

Because our individual stories for our lives is written in accordance with the will of God what we must overcome at a particular time in life differs from another.

The beauty is the promise!

The promise is that God is with us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. The promise is for every temptation He makes a way of escape. The promise is we have the authority to speak those things that are not as though they were. The promise is Jesus being the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

We must believe!

This is how we overcome:

By Faith

We overcome by worshipping the Trinity

We overcome by our praises unto the Father

We overcome him (the enemy) by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony

We overcome by speaking those things that are not as though they were

We overcome by standing on the word of God “Greater is He who is in me than He who is in the world”

We overcome by not letting go of the Father through cleaving to Jesus and His word

We overcome by what we believe

All these truths and more are found in the Word of God. It is our sword, and it keeps our weapon sharpened as we study to show ourselves approved. The word is our ammunition, peace, and confidence.

What is it that we are overcoming?

The weapons that have formed against us. The weapons typically are the enemy attacking our mind, perception, vision, speech, confidence, boldness, emotions, and self-image.

Today as I am writing to you, I am reminding myself. Jesus has already defeated the enemy and God’s end has already been established. We are simply walking out the process by Faith to obtain His (God’s) expected end in Jesus’ name amen.

May your ears receive and hear as you read the promise Jesus has made to us who overcomes.

Revelation 3:12-14, Hebrew 12:22, Psalms 91:11

He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My New Name, says the Lord

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the Heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels

For He has given His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways, says the Lord

In Jesus name amen

May I remind you that the Lord has already endowed each of us the strength to overcome. If we but only believe the enemy is defeated and the Lord has caused us to stand in Jesus’ name amen.

Dear Heaven Father,

We thank you for your continued grace, mercy, and longsuffering toward us. We praise you for equipping us for the weapons that form ~ they will never prosper. We thank you because as Jesus our Savior has already conquered and defeated the enemy, so shall we. For greater are You who is in us than he who is the world. We will give you the praise, the glory, and the honor for you deserve it all. We thank you and praise you in advance for the promise that we will receive as we overcome in Jesus name amen.
